Hey guys, I was wondering if there is any good sites for week by week guides to pregnancies, and fetus devolupment (sp?)
Because, My step mom is pregnant with my first sibling :-) I’m very excited.
And Also, Does anybody know at what age the sex is determined through ultrasound? I know she is going to get an ultrasound, middle next month.
:) (My First Sibling,,)

Congrats on your future sibling! Great sites to enjoy reading up on weekly developmental stages are as follows:http://www.visembryo.com/baby/1.htmlhttp://www.babycenter.com/6_your-pregnan…http://www.i-am-pregnant.com/pregnancy/c…
As far as when you can determine the sex of a baby, anywhere from 15 weeks and onward. Usually it’s done at the standard anatomy ultrasound done around 20 weeks.

That is a great site. I subscribed to the weekly email and it is really cool, it even shows a picture each week as well of the fetus.
I believe geneder can be determined as early as 14 weeks, but many wait a little longer so that it is clear. Your step mom will probably have to wait for another ultrasound (some have an ultrasound around 20 weeks to check growth of baby) to determine sex.
That’s so great you’re that excited about your new little sibling. I bet you’ll be a great big sister.

This is one of the best sites I’ve seen for photos of how that baby looks all through the pregnancy:http://www.ehd.org/prenatal-images-index…
Even when they’re certain what they’re seeing through ultrasound, mistakes can still be made. Here’s a link to a lot of women answering that very question:http://www.babycenter.com/400_at-which-m…
Congratulations on the new heart coming into your life, more love for everyone! Enjoy! <3

babycenter.com is a good site for week by week. Or have your step mom buy the book what to expect when expecting.
And they can tell gender 18-20 weeks.
Good luck to your step mom and congrats.

Here is a really cool site where you don’t get any actual info, but it shows a neat, 4-D picture of what the baby looks like that automatically changes each day.
    babystrology.com

The best website for week by week developement is
babycenter.com. It will even show you what they would look like if you got an ultrasound!!
Gender is best determined after 18 weeks. So her next ultrasound probably won’t reveal gender. (sorry hun)
But in another 9 wks. she can set up another appointment so you will know.
It’s so great that you’re excited about your little brother or sister!!!
    God Bless you all!!!
