I am now at week 24 out of 40 along the pregnancy timeline. I have to say it feels good… well most of the time anyway. I would like to let you know what you are to expect as you progress. I am waiting for the birth and I am so excited. It is like waiting for Christmas.

I am going go over, quite briefly, how I have coped on my pregnancy timeline. I found out quite early I was pregnant, only a couple of days after my period was due. Although I was excited I was still quite nervous. I didn’t have a feeling that I was pregnant and worried.

You soon will be feeling pregnant… very pregnant. You soon get the normal pregnancy symptoms. People used to say that the first trimester would be the hardest of the pregnancy timeline. I didn’t understand why but now I know they were right. It was a hard time. I was very tired all of the time. Everything was such a struggle. I didn’t want to get out of bed at all.

You go for a scan at week 12. This is important as it is the first time that you will see your baby. They can’t tell a lot at this stage so they don’t perform many tests. It is great though to be able to see the baby on screen.

I think it was on my fourteenth week of the pregnancy timeline that the normal symptoms passed. I am experiencing pain in my bladder area at the moment (I think it is being sat on!) but other than that I was ok. I believe that some of the symptoms return towards the end but I am ready for that.

The thing that I love about being pregnant is shopping. I think that I am at the point of the pregnancy timeline when I should be doing this. Looking for baby things is so much fun!
